According to Norse mythology, Odin sacrificed his right eye in order to pay the cost of drinking from Mimir’s Well, which in turn gave Odin a new kind of perception – the ability to see all things at once.

Odin’s Eye Technologies comprise an innovative approach to “Legal Tech.” We offer enterprise organizations a unique ability to effect corporate governance, compliance and deal-making with all relevant information at hand, and with a software platform that both sees and intelligently considers all legal constraints at once.

Our core product module is governance, because we need a strong backbone for a larger vision – governance is that backbone, because it represents the very intersection of business wants and needs, on the one hand, with legal constraints, on the other. By actively engaging with your business’s governance processes, Odin’s Eye learns all about your organization. As it learns, Odin’s Eye will increasingly offer your organization greater efficiency gains in your journey to excellence in governance. It will also assist you in change management and new deal-making by offering intuitive and simple-to-understand predictive reports explaining the way in which new or changed legal constraints impact your business. Consider a scenario in which the classic “Dilbert” problem percolates through a business or government enterprise organization, perhaps for years.

The problem of coordinating multiple approval flows and stakeholder management issues is often characterized as a leadership problem, but many times that perception arises against a deeper foundational problem of excessive complexity in the enterprise legal framework – the very same complexity that plagues so many enterprise organizations saddled with the legal constraints imposed by large and complex regulatory, policy and contractual environments that govern their businesses.

Over time, the perpetuation of small governance failures and inefficiencies undermine trust and confidence between executive teams across different enterprise entities, or between business and legal divisions. By the time intervention is initiated, millions or even billions of dollars may have been exposed to risk of loss, and, much like the “Dilbert” cartoon, stakeholders may have formed a view that a change of leadership is required.

However, based on years of study and real-world examples, more often in our experience these failures derive not purely from personality problems, but from (1) lack of common understanding across the enterprise and (2) inefficiency in navigating highly complex transaction structures while maintaining program-wide perspective. These are precisely the pain points that Odin’s Eye is designed to address. We have successfully deployed our process model in limited early test cases, to considerable praise from our early customers.
